A heartfelt thank you to everyone who donated and supported my all-volunteer civilian task force during the LA fire disaster.
To my knowledge, we were the only civilian volunteers authorized to enter the hot zone. Our team, equipped with the bare minimum safety gear and driving our personally owned 4×4 pickup trucks, ventured into the darkness up Sunset Blvd into the Palisades. We maneuvered around downed power lines, collapsing buildings, and raging fires, facing the unknown while putting our personal safety aside to assist those unable to reach help from first responders.
In just 48 hours of relentless effort, #taskforceblue made a significant impact:
– Assisted in evacuating over 2 dozen stranded individuals
– Delivered 500 gallons of water to those in need
– Provided over 200 meals to city workers and first responders in the danger zone
– Helped save several homes from destruction
– Offered medical aid to multiple injured persons
– Coordinated with frontline fire departments (Station 23 and 69) to deliver vital supplies and extinguish small brush fires
– Assisted with animal rescues
– Provided PPE to homeowners battling fires
-provided fuel to power gas generators to activate portable water pumps
And much more!
Your support has been invaluable, and together, we’ve made a difference! 👏🏻
We are standing by to provide further assistance as needed and approved by local authorities.
